Before you arrive into Barbados, your airline should have supplied you with an Entry/Departure card (E/D Card). Please ensure that you complete both sections.
Once you landed you will need to pass through immigration first. The immigration officer will stamp the E/D Card and hand you back the departure part of it. Do no lose this as it allows you to purchase duty free goods. You will also need to hand it back when you check in for your departure flight.
Once you passed immigration you can collect your luggage after which you will need to pass Customs who might search your bags.
Barbados has a strange law where it is prohibited to wear camouflage clothing, so ensure you are not wearing it or, to be safe, not to take any with you.
Once outside the terminal, there are plenty of taxis available to make your onward journey to your hotel.
If you travel on a package holiday, this is also the area you will meet your holiday rep.
